Melissa Gray
About & Clinical Approach
Melissa is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who is passionate about understanding the human body and how interconnected its different structures and systems are. She completed her four-year training at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and is certified by OSTCAN. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences from Western University, providing her with a strong foundation in health, science, and human anatomy.
What drew Melissa to osteopathy is its gentle, hands-on approach and its focus on treating the body as a whole. Rather than simply chasing areas of pain, she enjoys looking for the underlying patterns and restrictions that may be contributing to dysfunction. Her treatments are individualized to each person, with the goal of supporting healthy motion and allowing the nervous, arterial, venous, and lymphatic systems to function as effectively as possible.
Melissa believes that every body presents differently and that treatment should be adapted to what each person needs. She takes a thorough but gentle approach, combining careful assessment with hands-on treatment to support the body's natural ability to find balance and function well. Outside of the clinic, Melissa enjoys spending time with her Australian Shepherd, Meilo, reading, and trying new recipes.
